Since version 4.0.0.100 there is the program variant Winweigh Light. The further development of both variants is proceeding in parallel. Improvements may affect Winweigh Plus only, Winweigh Light only, or both. In order to keep the administrative effort for naming the improvements small but still maintain a complete overview of the novelties, a marking at the end of each novelty has been introduced:

[L] – concerns only Winweigh Light

This document describes the differences as of version 5.1.0.203.

Electronic Waste Record Procedure eANV [+].
The eANV functionality and the required WebService connection were introduced.
New modules: eANV / Multilingualism [+]
New license keys for the module of the electronic waste records procedure eANV and multilingualism of material names and waste type catalog AVV introduced
New table WINWEIGH_ [+]
New system table for storing system-wide valid entries.
Orders: Correct display of the customer in case of parallel new creation [+/L].
If a customer was selected via QSD, which in turn was created while the “Orders” window was already open, then nothing was displayed for this customer in the lookup field.
New module “Waste disposal records eANV” [+]
Here, the waste disposal records, accompanying and transfer bills, as well as the participants are synchronized with the eANV portal (Fritz und Macziol GmbH) via “eANVWebService” for the electronic waste record procedure
“Waste disposal records”: change for eANV [+].
In the table “AE-S1” the data of the disposal plant are no longer fetched from the plant table as before, but from the customer table with ENTSORGER_SW=1.
Customers” table: new fields [+]
Display the new fields Disposer (ENTSORGER_SW) and Disposer number (ENTSORGERNR).
Origin/Supply Locations” table: new fields [+].
Display of the new fields Producer number (ERZEUGERNR) and Workplace number (ARBEITSSTAETTENNUMMER).
New authorization for new table eANV [+]
For setting the user-related authorization.
Multilingualism for material designations and waste type catalog (AVV) [+].
New functionality to support multilingual material and waste designations.
Fixed incorrect display of delivery locations in orders [+].
Fixed misbehavior of Lookup combo box (delivery location) in Orders window.
Enhancements in the “eANV” module [+]
    • The plant number can be selected in the overview.
    • If a producer (customer) is selected in the “Participant” tab, then this assignment is also adopted for all ENs that have the same producer number.
    • BGS/UNS” tab: 2 additional functions: “Generate BGS” and “Generate UNS”.
    • The overview can now be filtered by “All”, “EN only” and “eEN only”.
    • The BGS/UNS can be filtered according to the different statuses.
    • Create BGS” function: It can be used to create the role and the mag. number can be selected.
    • The “State” selection box (previously only 1 letter) has been expanded to include the state name.
    • Adding the fields “Designation”, “Notes” and the receipt flags.
    • When selecting a “creator”, name and address are also taken over into the EN, if “EN_ERZ_NAME” is NULL.
    • If an “Origin” is selected, the name is also transferred to the EN if “VE_HK_NAME1” is NULL.
    • If a “material” is selected, the waste designation is also transferred to the EN if “EN_EWC_BEZ” is NULL. Conversely, the waste code is only transferred to the material if “EWC_CODE” is zero.
French date taken into account [+]
In the modules “Invoice”, “Dunning” and in the “Data delete wizard” an error message occurred when entering a date if the language is set to “French (France)” or started with “/FRENCH”.
New Report Designer [+/L]
Switching to new Report Designer (version 12.01) for saving Winweigh documents in additional file and image formats, such as Text File, Text File with Report Emulation, Bitmap File, JPEG File, GIF File, Metafile, XLS Data File, XLS Report File, RTF File, Word(doc) File, PDF File.
Help changed to new format [+/L].
Online help changed to chm format supported by current MS ® operating systems.
Authorization system changed to current MS ® operating systems [+].
New authorization based on Windows 2008 Server introduced.
Vehicles: Preassignment revised [+/L].
Preset: The QSD button at Other customer showed no effect.
New table form for translations [+]
New window System Customizing Translations. With the help of this new environment, the operator is now able to perform or change the translation automatically, for example within a multilingual touchscreen-based application.
Orders: revised [+]
    • For orders with identical order number in different attachments, the order items were not displayed correctly.
    • The invoice recipient is now displayed with abbreviation and name.
Cash book revised [+/L]
The cash positions are now sorted in descending order. Cash entries with value 0.00 are now also entered. In this way, the cash register is synchronous with the voucher and cash invoice in terms of receipts.
Disposal records revised [+]
The expiration date now defaults to start date + 5 years – 1 day.
Database connection no longer user related [+/L].
By changing the location for the database connection (Connectkey) within the registry (now under HKLM), the computer-specific setting of the connection data has been achieved.
Revision of the construction site form [+/L].
When turning off the visibility for the Price List (BAUSTELLE_.PRLID) and Freight Material (BAUSTELLE_.FRACHTSORNR) fields, the “Designation fields” were left standing
Redistribution: forced entry for material removed [+].
When using the redistribution function and applying an additional material (assignment in Material Master Data), it happened that the recorded additional material was overwritten with the material from the redistribution.
Filter within the order table revised [+].
When entering an alphanumeric value for numeric values within the filter dialog (F3), an error message occurred.
Changing the display for delivery items / analysis data [+/L].
Pressing Shift-F6 switches to the “Overview” tab, so that the keys “Plus” (expand) and “Minus” (collapse) have an immediate effect. With “Ctrl-Plus” and “-Minus” the analyses can now be expanded in all positions. Delivery items that have analyses are displayed in light green.
Correct waste approval number [+/L].
When changing the material, the EN and VE numbers were not updated or reset.
Document data can no longer be accidentally deleted [+/L].
In all grids, pressing “Del” could delete the current record, even if it was read-only.
Message “Invalid transaction handle” fixed [+/L].
If orders or documents are displayed and no further entries are made afterwards, the connection to the database is terminated after the time set in WIEGEN.INI. If you waited until the corresponding message in the status bar was cleared again and then clicked on e.g. Search, the error “Invalid transaction handle” occurred.
Autom. Payer selection on change of customer/carrier/other customer eliminated [+/L].
The invoice recipient was automatically set to the changed data set when the customer / carrier or other customer was changed. The payer (debtor) must never change if “Customer”, “Forwarder” or “Other customer” is deleted / changed and the criterion for the invoice recipient is still correct.
The entry of a vehicle registration number becomes unique [+/L].
The vehicle is now always taken as WID in the manual weighing process when it is first saved.
Payer now visible with complete address [+/L].
The payer (debtor) slab is now rebuilt as an expandable address field.
New function “Search for waste disposal certificate / consignment bill” [+]
    • By pressing Ctrl+F10 or selecting a hazardous material, it is possible to start weighing of hazardous materials and accompanying documents.
    • In automatic mode, the BGS selection window is now not opened if the material is hazardous and no or more BGS are found.
    • In the window “Search EN/BGS” (Ctrl+F10) there is the possibility to create a document “New” or as “Supplement”.
    • The plant to which the EN is assigned is automatically selected.
    • With “Search EN” the expiration date is ignored.
    • For hazardous material, expired ENs or with ENs remaining = 0 are now generally rejected.
Extension in weighing for unsigned consignment bills [+].
New tab under “Open vouchers” “Unsigned BGS”. This allows the weighed quantities to be transmitted to the eANV portal via “eANVWebService” and the signing of the consignment bills to be initiated.

    • When accompanying documents are “signed”, the web browser is automatically started and a login to the eANV Internet portal is performed.
    • The following functions are available:
      1. Transfer BGS quantity to portal
      2. Sign
      3. Send
      4. Ready
New “BGS” field in the “Waste disposal certificate” floe. [+]
This is the display of the consignment note number that was selected for the weighing process.
Consideration of the comment from the waste approval when changing material [+].
When selecting a new material, the EN_BEMARK field was not deleted.
“Old” function of ENs with multiple CEs now also for eANV [+].
Waste approvals with several CE numbers can now be selected (previously this was always 1).
New authorization for new BGS functions [+].
To set the user-related authorization for the new functions, such as:

    • Generate BGS (Begleitschein)
    • Transfer BGS quantity to portal
    • Sign BGS
    • Send BGS
    • Declare BGS as “Ready
Waste generation point from waste approval is generally assigned [+].
When selecting a hazardous or “in AVV” material, the DELIVERY PLACE field is now always assigned unless it is NULL.

By changing the location for the database connection (Connectkey) within the registry (now under HKLM), the computer-specific setting of the connection data has been achieved.
Court list query via own buttons (Recall) extended [+].
With the help of the configuration settings it is possible to define the so-called recall for the yard list in the weighing mode. These recalls allow faster access to the yard list entries (open documents). By extending the query, open collective documents are now also included in the search.
Revised the storage for the column setting [+].
When saving the column setting of “Open documents” “Unsigned BGS” an error message occurred. It will now delete the existing entries before saving the column setting, so that overlapping can no longer occur.
Extension of the weighing pattern by a new key [+].
Within the weighing pattern, another new key is now available for free use (FREI2).

New table EAK_TR_ [+]
It stores the AVV translations in eight languages.
Change of material table for eANV [+].
MATERIAL_.SORUEBERWACH_SW changed.

    • 0=not dangerous
    • 1=dangerous
    • 2=In AVV

The latter is used to continue to support the previous status of the waste disposal record.

New table AVV_TR_ [+]
It stores the AVV translations in eight languages.
New system parameter (SP) ‘LanguageData’ [+].
It specifies the language for the material designations and the AVV designation. See New tables MATERIAL_TR_ and EAK_TR_.
Change of AVV import [+]
New parameter ALANG_ID introduced, which defines the “data language” of the passed parameters, Can be used in addition to the old format (1) “AVV-2006-11-01.csv” also the extended format (2) “EWC-2006-multilingual.csv”. Writes a record from format (2) into new table EAK_TR_.
New procedure to copy the set language for AVV [+].
Copies the corresponding translation from EAK_TR to EAK_ based on the value of ‘LanguageData’.
