Since version 4.0.0.100 there is the program variant Winweigh Light. The development of both variants runs in parallel. Improvements may affect Winweigh Plus only, Winweigh Light only, or both. To distinguish the respective variant, a marking was introduced at the end of each novelty:
- [+/L] – concerns both variants
- [+] – concerns Winweigh Plus only
- [L] – concerns only Winweigh Light
This document describes the differences as of version 7.0.0.100.
- Known UDF’s from Interbase brought back in [+/L].
- The User Defined Functions (UDF), which were removed with the conversion of the SQL dialect, were declared again in the database (PWBUDF64.dll). This means that special adaptations with version updates can be carried out more quickly.
- New field ARCHIVDATUM with index [+/L].
- The above field has been added to the customer, job site, order and delivery table. The date of archiving is entered here.
- New procedure for archiving [+/L].
- Called for the new archiving / de-archiving function.
- Procedure ProExportDATEVFormat revised [+].
- The export of FiBu data is now done according to the current entry of the revenue accounts.
- Search dialog (QSD) revised / extended [+/L].
- The sorting of the columns offered in the respective search dialog now takes effect immediately when clicking on the column header. The new “full text search” function allows searching across all data from existing filter criteria.
- New module “Customer collection/budget” [+]
- The new Customer Collection/Budget module allows the assignment of customers to a created customer collection, including the management of customer group or customer budgets. Please refer to the manual for details.
- New function “Archive customers” [+/L].
- Allows archiving customers, and their possibly assigned construction sites. The function can be accessed by right-clicking on customer abbreviation within the detail view.
- New function “Archive order” [+]
- Allows archiving of orders. The function can be accessed by right-clicking on order abbreviations within the detail view.
- New function “Archive vouchers” [+/L]
- Allows archiving documents based on a specified time period. This new option can be accessed under the menu item System – Attachment – Archive documents. Documents that have not been invoiced can also be archived.
- New function “Retrieve” [+/L]
- The above-mentioned archiving can be undone via dearchiving. This new option can be accessed under the menu item System – Retrieval. Within retrieval, a distinction is made between documents and customers/orders.
- Menu is omitted if empty [+/L].
- The icon menu line (glyph buttons) is now hidden if there is no single icon.
- Online help now also accessible in the network [+/L].
- If the online help available in HTML Help (chm) was called within the master data, no content was displayed under certain circumstances. The background is the changed handling of these files by the Windows operating system; information is only offered if the file is called locally. Because of this, the first time the online help is called via the network – i.e. from the point of view of a client workstation – it is copied to “\AppData\Local\Pfister” and then opened.
- Invoice: collective printout of invoices revised [+].
- When sorting by booking number and filtering on collective invoices, as well as the active parameter “Bocking when printing invoices”, not all invoices were displayed within the print preview. Fixed.
- Waste disposal certificates: Address for waste disposer selectable again [+].
- With changeover to unique definition of addresses for a data record from version 7.0.0.100 no existing address could be selected. The selection from existing addresses within tab “AE-S1” (for AE_FNAME1, …) is now possible again.
- Vehicles: address for owner selectable again. [+/L]
- The owner can now be selected again from the existing addresses.
- Orders: Address for address selectable again [+].
- The address within an order can now be selected from the existing addresses again.
- New table function [+/L]
- With new system parameter “Tables groupable” the table overview of the master data can be changed to the behavior known in the weighing mode. This enables e.g. filtering of columns. Direct input with accompanying sorting within the offered columns is also feasible with it.
- Billing: Create collective invoice on order revised [+].
- The input/selection of an order led to misbehavior in certain situations. Fixed.
- Address address is saved again [+/L].
- Within the installations, construction sites, delivery locations, packaging, ID cards, the salutation entered in the address was not properly saved. Fixed.
- Could not delete creditor account [+]
- When removing an entry from the “Vendor account” field within a customer, the error message occurred. Fixed.
- Search dialog (QSD) revised / extended [+/L]
- The sorting of the columns offered in the respective search dialog now takes effect immediately when clicking on the column header. The new “full text search” function allows searching across all data from existing filter criteria
- Selection list extended [+/L].
- The so-called DropDownList of the search dialog now offers 10 lines by default instead of 5 lines before.
- Target/actual of order item revised [+]
- If after selecting an order, another material was selected, the target/actual quantities were calculated incorrectly in certain situations. Fixed.
- Document filter revised [+/L]
- The entry of a customer and the direct / manual entry of the job site abbreviation led to an incorrect display of the job site name if the job site abbreviation existed several times. Fixed.
- Vehicle selection improved [+/L]
- If no vehicle presettings were applied when entering a vehicle (e.g. because no vehicle exists for this vehicle or no master vehicle), the presettings are now applied when the vehicle is changed again – provided that they exist for the newly entered vehicle.
- Error during document creation [+/L]
- The error “Cursor is not open” occurred sporadically during document creation if the client workstation had a special configuration. Fixed.
- Creation of folders now possible with print [+/L].
- Before creating PDF files, all directory paths are now automatically created from the “ppReport.TextFileName” field. This function requires the special adaptation of your print template!
- Pfister beat statistics_VD.qu5 modified [+]
- The division of the quantities was done without decimal separators. Fixed.
