Since version 4.0.0.100 there is the program variant Winweigh Light. The further development of both variants is proceeding in parallel. Improvements may affect Winweigh Plus only, Winweigh Light only, or both. To distinguish the respective variant, a marking was introduced at the end of each novelty:
- [+/L] – concerns both variants
- [+] – concerns Winweigh Plus only
- [L] – concerns only Winweigh Light
This document describes the differences as of version 6.2.0.200.
- Country code corrected [+/L].
- The spelling error for the country code Romania has been corrected: “EO” is now “RO”.
- New system parameter for selecting the direction of goods in weighing mode [+/L].
- The new system parameter “Only goods receipt-goods issue” hides the goods direction “Stock transfer” and “Not defined” within the weighing operation.
- Performance improvement [+/L]
- Due to the changed handling of the cursor display as of the Windows Vista operating system, the display of larger amounts of data within WinWeigh was delayed. The mouse pointer relevant changes have been applied to our current database query object. The result is a speed known from previous operating systems.
- Change criteria in configuration settings now user-oriented” [+/L].
- The settings for “Invoice” (operator / abbreviation / telephone) are now saved under “\Users\AppData\Local\Pfister\WinWeigh.settings”. Besides the advantage of user-oriented handling, the configuration setting (WinWeigh.INI) may now also be read-only.
- Note text of the customer now also in the order [+].
- When selecting the customer in the order, his note text is now displayed as a message box.
- Revision of test price determination [+]
- Now only current and released orders can be selected.

- The “Checkout” and “Search criteria” settings are now saved under “\Users\AppData\Local\Pfister\Cradles.settings”. Besides the advantage of user-oriented handling, the configuration setting (Weigh.INI) is now allowed to be read-only.
- Price clod can be hidden [+]
- The price slab in the weighing pattern can be parameterized to display only documents with a cash register dialog (cash invoice / weighing slip).
- Free fields can be parameterized in length [+].
- The setting of the field length deviation from Customizing -> Field settings for the respective free field/clean axle stroke now also affects the free field clods in the weighing pattern.
- New plaice “Disposer” [+]
- The definition and thus display of the disposer is now possible in the weighing pattern. All data records from the customer master that are declared as “Actual disposer” are available for selection. When you select a waste approval (Ctrl+F10), the disposer from the selected waste approval is entered automatically. The disposal number from the waste disposal certificate and customer master is used as the criterion. If several disposers in the customer master have the same disposer number, the selection query is made.
- Redesign of the weighing pattern [+]
- The font has been completely changed to “Segoe UI”. Due to the use of ever larger screen resolutions, scaling the clods is already commonplace. The previous font failed to display the scaling of floes larger than 130% in an acceptable way.
- “Default” of the table setting revised [+/L].
- The order of the grid columns visible by default has been revised, as well as the number of default fields within the “Open receipts (farm list)” / “Open receipts – items” / “Receipts” / “Receipts – items” tables has been reduced. The time-consuming modification of the tables during a new installation is reduced.
- Selection disposer proof now also shows disposer [+].
- When selecting a waste approval with function Ctrl+F10, the disposer is now also entered in the new floe “Disposer” (see above).
- Display error in weighing pattern with more than one position fixed [+].
- The display “Pos.number of number of positions” (small picture on the right side) within an opened document with several delivery positions was sometimes not correct when jumping / selecting several times in the delivery positions.
